Chapter 7 [THE SIXTH SEAL CONTINUED]
The Lord Jesus is still going out, conquering (overcoming) in order that he might conquer (overcome) (6:2)
vv.1-12
v.1
"And" There is no break in thought. What follows is firmly linked to the visions of the previous chapter."with these things" Here is the answer to the question at the end of chapter 6: "Who is able to stand?" when God pours out His wrath.
"four winds" All to be revealed before the judgement day.(O.T. God's judgements on physical Israel from the North, South, East and West. N.T. God's final judgement on all the earth.)

The "bonded servants," "seal ... in their foreheads" cp. Ezekiel 9:4-6, "HOLYNESS TO THE LORD" Exodus 28:36-38.The "name" chapter 3:12 "my new name," and the 144,000 chapter 14 verses 1-5, "Father's name in the forehead," "follow the Lamb", "redeemed from the earth." Purchased ones Acts 20:28, 1.Corinthians 6:20. "firstfruits to God and to the Lamb."
The Lamb's "servants" "His name in their foreheads" chapter 22:1-4.."Sealed" , Ephesians 1:13-14, Acts 5:32,

"clothed with white robes" chapter 3:5. * These are the ones who are able to stand - OVERCOMERS -"Salvation ... " accomplished. Compare vv. 10-12 with chapter 4 verses 10-11 and chapter 5 verses 9-10,12-13.

THE LAST SEAL ON THE SCROLL The enigma of creation is solved. Now we know its purpose and its outcome.THEREFORE the angels are astounded, all in heaven are smitten with awesome silence.
