⁶And he said to me, These sayings are faithful and true: and the Lord God of the holy prophets sent his angel to show to his servants the things which must shortly be done. ⁷Behold, I come quickly: blest is he who keeps the sayings of the prophecy of this document.

⁸And I John saw these things, and heard them. And when I had heard and seen, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who showed me these things. ⁹Then he said to me, See you do it not: for I am your fellowservant, and of your brothers the prophets, and of those who keep the sayings of this document: worship God.

¹⁰And he said to me, Do not seal the sayings of the prophecy of this document: for the time is at hand. ¹¹He who is unjust, let him still be unjust: and he who is filthy, let him still be filthy: and he who is righteous, let him still be righteous: and he who is holy, let him still be holy.

¹²And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work will be. ¹³I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

¹⁴Blest are those who are doing his commandments, so that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. ¹⁵For outside are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whoever loves and makes a lie.

¹⁶I Jesus have sent my angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

¹⁷And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him who hears say, Come. And let him who is thirsty come. And whoever will, let him take the water of life freely. ¹⁸For I testify to every man who hears the words of the prophecy of this document, If any man shall add to these things, God will add to him the plagues that are written in this document: ¹⁹And if any man shall take away from the words of the document of this prophecy, God will take away his part from the scroll of life, and out of the holy city, and the things which have been written in this document.

²⁰He who testifies these things said, Surely I come quickly.Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. ²¹The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
