| REVELATION CHAPTER 7 |
1And with these things I see four angels stood on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, so that the wind would not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. 2And I see another angel ascend from the east, holding the seal of the living God: and he cries with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it is given to hurt the earth and the sea, 3Saying, You should not hurt the earth, nor the sea, nor the trees, until we can seal the bonded servants of our God in their foreheads. 4And I hear the number of the sealed: a hundred forty four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel sealed. 5Of the tribe of Judah twelve thousand were sealed. Of the tribe of Reuben twelve thousand sealed. Of the tribe of Gad twelve thousand were sealed. 6Of the tribe of Asher twelve thousand sealed. Of the tribe of Napthali twelve thousand sealed. Of the tribe of Manassah twelve thousand sealed. 7Of the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand sealed. Of the tribe of Levi twelve thousand sealed. Of the tribe of Issachar twelve thousand sealed. 8Of the tribe of Zebulon twelve thousand sealed. Of the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand sealed. Of the tribe of Benjamin twelve thousand sealed.
9With this I watch, and, behold, a great multitude, which no one was able to number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the little Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands; 10And crying with a loud voice, saying, "Salvation to the one sitting on the throne of our God, and to the little Lamb." 11And all the angels who had stood around the throne, and the elders and the four living creatures, and fall before the throne on their face, and worship God, 12Saying, "Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and might, to our God for ever and ever. Amen."
13And one of the elders responds, saying to me, "These who are arrayed in white robes. Who are they? and where do they come from?" 14And I have said to him, "Sir, you know." And he said to me, "These are those coming out of great tribulation, and they wash their robes, and make them white in the blood of the little Lamb. 15Therefore they are before the throne of God, and are serving him day and night in his temple*: and he who is sitting on the throne will dwell among them. 16They will not hunger any more, nor thirst any more; neither will the sun light on them, nor any heat. 17For the little Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will feed them, and will lead them to fountains of living waters: and God will wipe away all tears from their eyes."
